Boom,
The lights went out at 9pm tonight. Apparently 1/2 of Loyola has lost power as well as a bunch of neighborhoods all the way up to The Swallow on Northern and York. OUCH! We've closed the library and will reopen in the morning (if the power is on). This doesn't have anything to do with the library construction, just letting you know. Goodnight.

The library is undergoing construction, but we're open regular hours. It's going to take a bit, and there's noise and confusion, but when we're done there will be a beautiful new space, more computers and no more orange carpet. Journal Remote Storage
The library has shipped most of our bound serials from the Lower Level to the JHU service center at Laurel. Articles needed from the service center should be treated as ILL/Document Delivery requests. All journals are cleared from the Lower Level of the Library and are either located on the second and third floors (for the newer issues) or at the Laurel Service Center. The Library Catalog holding record shows where each journal issue is located. Please contact the Reference Desk with any questions. We apologize for any inconvenience.
